The Compression Test Device was designed according to IRAM 2073 / IRAM NM 60884-1 (Figure 28).
The device consists of two steel jaws, a cylindrical face with a radius of 25mm, a width of 15mm and a minimum length of 50mm.

The device consists of two steel jaws, a cylindrical face with a radius of 25mm, a width of 15mm and a minimum length of 50mm.
The sample is clamped between the jaws so that they press against the zone where it is gripped during the regular iso, coinciding the axis of the jaws as possible with the center of this area. the force applied by the jaws is 20N.
The test is performed in an oven at a temperature of 80°C (+/- 2°C).
After 1 hour the jaws are removed and the samples must not show any damage.
